Biography
Michal L. Mullins has been involved in the practice of law since 1990 with
an emphasis in the area of family law and domestic relations. Mr. Mullins is
one of eighteen lawyers in the State of Oklahoma to have been selected and
admitted to the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. Mr. Mullins has also been named in the "Best Lawyers in America" and "Super Lawyers" publications in the area of Family Law. Mr. Mullins’ practice
emphasizes traditional client representation and litigation in domestic matters
and he has handled numerous appeals to the Oklahoma Appellate Courts.
Mr. Mullins is a frequent speaker at Continuing Legal Education seminars and
has authored and presented seminars including but not limited to the following "Civility
in the Legal Profession," Oklahoma Bar Association, Continuing Legal Education,

Mr. Mullins was born in 1964 in Memphis, Tennessee and moved to the State of
Oklahoma in 1975. He began his legal career in 1990 associating with the law
firm of Fagin & Fagin and was subsequently named a partner in that firm
which was then known as Fagin, Fagin, Nixon & Mullins. Mr. Mullins felt
the entrepreneurial urge and opened his own law practice in 1996. Thereafter,
he joined Karl Hirsch and Patricia Parrish (now Judge Parrish) to firm Mullins,
Hirsch & Parrish, the predecessor to Mullins, Hirsch & Jones.
Mr. Mullins has been active in both the Oklahoma Bar Association and the Oklahoma
County Bar Association having served as a member of the Young Lawyers Division
Board of Directors from 1991-1996, serving as Vice-Chairman 1993-1994, Chair
Elect 1994-1995, and Chairman 1995-1996. Mr. Mullins is also a member of the
Ruth Bader Ginsburg American Inn of Court. In addition, he has served as a
delegate to the Oklahoma State Bar Convention. Mr. Mullins is very active in
local civic organizations and his church and has served on the Board of Directors
of the City Rescue Mission since 1997 and served as the Chairman of its Board
of Directors in 1999, 2000 and 2001. He is married to Kim and has five children.
